Editor

I am currently Editor of Oxford Open Economics, a new open access, general interest journal published by Oxford University Press. The journal is dedicated to the “sound science” approach where papers are assessed for their scientific rigour rather than subjective assessments of novelty or value added.

Between 2007 and 2010, I served as the Editor-in-Chief of the New Zealand Economic Papers , which is published by the leading publishing house Taylor and Francis on behalf of the New Zealand Association of Economists. I am currently a member of the journals’ editorial board.

Between 2007 and 2019, I was an Associate Editor (de facto Action Editor for all papers assigned for handling) for the Journal of Economic Psychology, which is a leading journal in the area of economic psychology and experimental and behavioural economics. During 2016-2018, I also acted as the journal’s Book Review Editor. The journal is ranked “A” in the ABDC list.

Between 2011 and 2015, I served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, which is a leading and highly regarded journal in experimental economics. ABDC ranking for this journal is “A*”.

Since 2013, I have acted as an Associate Editor (de facto Action Editor for all papers assigned for handling) of the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics, which is a high quality scholarly journal published by Elsevier. Between 2009 and 2012 I was a member of the journal’s editorial board. The journal is ranked “A” in the ABDC rankings.

In 2018, I became involved in an editorial capacity (de facto Action Editor for all papers assigned for handling) with Nature Scientific Reports, published by the Nature Publishing Group.

I am currently a member of the editorial board (de facto Action Editor for all papers assigned for handling) of the open access journal Games. Manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review and a first decision provided to authors approximately 28.5 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in approx. 8 days (median values for papers published in this journal in first half of 2017).
